🤖 We wish our talented RoboCup team the very best of luck as they compete at the State Competition. We are incredibly proud of you!

🌟 We also wish our wonderful Southern Stars team all the best for their performances this week. We know you will shine brightly on stage and represent our school with pride!

The fun certainly didn’t stop today! 🌟 Before school had even begun, we had the **incredible opportunity to appear on the Today Show! 📺🎥

What a fantastic experience for our students and school community. We had so much fun riding the trains 🚂, exploring the museum 🏛️ and, of course, the best part – becoming actors and actresses for the day! 🎬⭐

Our students absolutely embraced the experience and represented our school beautifully. It was wonderful to see their excitement, enthusiasm and huge smiles throughout the morning. 💙💛

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible and to our staff and families who joined us bright and early! 🙌

Between our Today Show appearance and our spectacular Book Week Parade, it has certainly been a day to remember at Thirlmere Public School! 📚🚂📺✨

📚✨ BOOK WEEK PARADE 2026!✨📚

What an absolutely AMAZING Book Week Parade we had! 🌟📖 Our school was bursting with colour, creativity and some truly incredible characters!

We were blown away by the wonderful costumes our students wore. 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️👸🐛🎩 A huge thank you to our parents and families for the time, effort and creativity that went into preparing costumes and helping make the day so special. 💕👏

A very special THANK YOU to the wonderful Mrs Grasso🌟💐 who went above and beyond to make our Book Week celebrations so spectacular for everyone. Your enthusiasm, organisation and attention to detail created such a memorable experience for our students and school community. ❤️📚

📚🎶 ONE MORE SLEEP UNTIL OUR BOOK WEEK PARADE! 🎶📚

The countdown is on! Just ONE more sleep until our TPS Book Week Parade, celebrating this year’s theme, ‘Symphony of Stories’! 🎵📖✨

We can’t wait to see our students bring their favourite book characters to life as our school comes together for a wonderful celebration of books, reading and storytelling.

🧸📚 LITTLIES IN THE LIBRARY
Before the parade, we’re looking forward to welcoming our 2027 Kindergarten students and their families for a special Littlies in the Library session. We can’t wait for our littlest learners to join in the Book Week excitement!

🧺 BOOKS N’ BLANKETS PICNIC
Following the parade, families are invited to stay for our Books n’ Blankets Picnic. Bring along a picnic blanket, find a cosy spot and enjoy lunch together as a school community.

🍔🥪 CANTEEN FOOD PACKS
Our canteen will have hot and cold food packs available for purchase, making picnic lunch nice and easy!

We can’t wait to welcome our families tomorrow for a fabulous morning celebrating the magic of books and our very own Symphony of Stories! 📚🎶❤️

🏆🌟 **Gala Day Superstars!** 🌟🏆

Last Friday, our students proudly represented Thirlmere Public School at Gala Day. They demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day. ⚽🏏🏉

We are incredibly proud of the way they encouraged one another, respected their opponents and gave every game their very best. Well done to all our amazing sportspeople! 💙💛👏

A huge thank you to Picton High School and their wonderful SRC for visiting our school today for a fantastic Meet & Greet with our Year 6 students! 💙

It was a great opportunity for our students to gain an insight into high school life, meet next year’s Year Advisors, hear about the experiences of current students and ask lots of questions.

We really appreciate everyone who took the time to come along and help make the transition to high school feel exciting, positive and welcoming! 🌟

We’re excited to give our students a voice in our library through Adopt a Shelf — a chance for students to choose a favourite section, share their passion for reading, and inspire others to discover new books. 🌟📖

Meet Daniel, a student at Thirlmere Public School, who has adopted our Historical Fiction shelf! 🏰⚔️📜

Daniel loves historical fiction and wants to spread the love of reading historical stories with his classmates. ❤️📚 He’s using his voice, creativity and passion for books to help others discover just how exciting it can be to step back in time through a great story!
