Liv 2 Learn Early Education Thirlmere is Thirlmere’s newest upcoming state of the art centre. The service has been designed and created by Haylee and Leanne who have a combined total of 43 years in the early childhood industry and have grown up/ reside in the Wollondilly. Each of the owners are highly qualified and actively participate in the education of the children and mentoring/educator suppor

t. The service is the partner to the highly reputable Gumnut Kidz Kindergarten and follows a ‘live to learn’ philosophy where we encourage children be inspired by a love of learning. The service is predominantly guided by the Reggio Emilia theory of learning, Montessori and a collection of other theorists that focus on children as effective, independent and confident learners. The service prides itself on using nature and natural resources based on research of nature deficit disorder among children and guide open ended learning supported by highly qualified industry leading educators. The service has an unmatched school readiness program designed by a qualified teacher with a masters In education both early childhood 0-5 and k-6 and is strongly resourced to provide a active hands on style of learning and investigation. The service has been designed with the environment as the third educator in mind using sparkling rivers, tunnels, textures indoor/ outdoor connections and interactive gardens. The natural state of the art backyard and 3 large purpose built rooms have been designed to raise the bar in early childhood education and we are so excited to watch this amazing environment come to life. This exceptional service is expected to be completed for exploration mid 2022.

🌸 FLOWERS WANTED! 🌸

Calling all local florists, gardeners and flower lovers! 💐🌿

We have a beautiful nature-based art experience planned for our children and are looking for a small collection of fresh, brightly coloured flowers to use for flower hammering.

If you have just a couple of blooms you’d be happy to spare from your garden, or perhaps some flowers that aren’t quite sale-worthy, or even a bunch of flowers you’ve received that are on their way out but still have plenty of colour left in them, we would absolutely love to put them to creative use! 🎨🌼

Flowers that work particularly well include pansies, violas, cosmos, geraniums, pelargoniums, marigolds, petunias, calibrachoa, phlox, nasturtiums, roses and dahlias — but we’d be grateful for any colourful flowers that may transfer their beautiful natural pigments.

We only need a few, so even two or three flowers from the garden would be wonderful. 🌷

Thank you for helping us bring a little bit of the garden into our children’s art! 💜🌿

Our home corner has officially become a pizza shop! The children have been busy rolling dough, spreading sauce, adding toppings and serving up pizzas just like our friends at Wild & Sour.

Wild + Sour have become a treasured part of our village here at Liv2Learn. Every fortnight, they park their pizza truck in our carpark, bringing families together over what we all agree is some of the best pizza around! It has quickly become a much-loved tradition for the children, who eagerly look forward to pizza day.

Today, Danielle, G and little Julian joined us for a very special pizza-making experience. The children rolled and stretched their own dough, spread the sauce, sprinkled on their favourite toppings, watched their creations cook in the pizza oven, and best of all, gathered together to enjoy the delicious pizzas they had made.

Experiences like these are about so much more than food. They create opportunities for learning, connection, confidence, conversation and community.

A huge thank you to Wild + Sour for continuing to be such a valued part of our Liv2Learn family. We are so grateful to have you as part of our village. ❤️🍕

Our York team-sponsored garden bed upgrades are officially complete!

A huge thank you to Chris, Markos and Bennett for generously donating to help transform our garden beds. Your support has created an exciting space for our children to learn, explore and grow.

Another big thank you to our wonderful children, who rolled up their sleeves and helped fill the garden beds with soil, getting everything ready for our spring planting.

We can’t wait to watch our spring crops flourish and for the children to experience the joy of nurturing them from seed to harvest!
