This week, the RACQ Education Team visited our school and delivered the Streets Ahead program. Our students were taught valuable road safety lessons including how to cross the road safely, how to correctly wear a helmet and how they can be a safe and helpful passenger when travelling in a vehicle. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the program and gained practical strategies they can use when out in our community as pedestrians, bike/scooter riders, and passengers.

What an interesting day we had wandering around Gympie Art Gallery. We saw some amazing artwork and thoroughly enjoyed engaging with Carly as she challenged our creativity and our brains . We then wandered through Gympie observing some very interesting sculptures. We are full of inspirational ideas now as we work towards creating our own sculpture piece. Thanks to Mrs Wrench and Miss Joy.

Due to some upgrades at school over the coming weeks, we will have some used water tanks available. If you are interested in one, please add your name to the list at school. It will simply be a case of first in first serve.
Water is not included and the school holds no responsibility in regard to the condition, collection or transportation of the tank.
We expect the used tanks will be ready for collection mid- August.

Thursday morning, we are off to WILDLIFE ZOO. We hope to leave at 8:15 and will return by 2:30pm. All children are asked to bring a piece of fruit with them. Lunch will be provided.

WEDNESDAY 24th June 2024: We welcome parents and families to school for some afternoon tea, a chat, report cards and a drama set in the past by a cast of 10. The afternoon will start at 1pm.
