Civil Train SA (RTO 45621) has been training South Australia's civil construction industry for more than 25 years.

Civil Train is one of South Australia's largest private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to the Civil Construction Industry from our Centre of Excellence at 1 South Rd, Thebarton and our regionally across SA. Civil Train is a training division of the Civil Contractors Federation, which offers a variety of training solutions to CCF members and civil contractors nationally.

Already experienced in pipe laying? Put that experience to work and get recognised for what you already know! 💧🪏

Civil Train's SA Pipe Laying Accreditation (RPL) is our recognition of prior learning process that can help experienced workers gain nationally recognised unit of competency for pipe laying under SA Water requirements.

Core units include:

• RIICPL301E – Install water mains pipelines
• RIICPL303E – Install sewer pipelines
• RIICRC208E – Lay pipes

Additional RPL pathways are also available for stormwater, pre-cast gully pits and pre-cast access chambers.

Each unit of RPL is $500 per participant, while additional fees may apply where gap training and/or assessment is required.

We recently worked with Harvie Irrigation, Lawn and Landscaping on the Yorke Peninsula, delivering weekend training over five weeks to help workers update their excavator and skid steer certifications.

Are you looking for your next apprentice or to build your business’ capability?

Come along to our next Apprentice Workforce Connect Event hosted by Civil Apprenticeships and Careers Ltd where we bring together employers looking for quality apprentices with motivated and skilled people ready to start rewarding careers in civil construction. After the success of our first event, where 12 out of 15 apprentices were offered an apprenticeship or a second interview, we’re holding these events monthly.

We spoke to some of the apprentices and employers and asked them how they found the event and the benefit of bringing everyone together in one room and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive – hear what they had to say in this video.

Congratulations to the first eight graduates of the T2D Women in Tunnelling Pre-employment Program! 👏
Each graduate has secured a role on the Torrens to Darlington Project and has officially commenced their journey into South Australia's civil construction industry.

Civil Train SA, CCFSA's registered training division, was proud to partner with the CITB South Australia, The Umbrella Collective and the T2D Alliance to support this important initiative, hosting the training at our recently opened Centre of Excellence in Gepps Cross. The program is supporting the skills required for the T2D Project while also creating meaningful employment pathways and building a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
