Ausfic - Australia Finance Conference

Give your career in finance a kickstart by attending AUSFIC, the most prestigious student conference of the year for banking, economics and finance.

Recognising the limited understanding most students possess regarding
their career ambitions, the conference is conceived with the mission of
exposing highly motivated students to the real issues affecting various
professional service providers. The conference seeks to provide an
advanced insight into the business operations underlying key industry
leaders as well as the dominant issues in the cur

rent economic environment. With this exposure our event aims to foster within its delegates a stronger
passion for a potential career in investment banking and other financial
services. In keeping with this mission, AUSFIC seeks to attract students from the
premier tertiary institutions not only from all over Sydney including the
University of New South Wales, University of Sydney, UTS and Macquarie
universities, but all over Australia, including the University of Melbourne,
Australian National University, University of Queensland, and the
University of Adelaide. In this way, the conference will bring together high
achieving students from top business schools across Australia and leading
service professionals who hope to instil, within the next generation, a strong
foundation for a career within financial services. This ecosystem will allow
students to gain a greater understanding of the value propositions and
growth drivers of the industry and better appreciate the nature of a career
within financial services. The day will consist of panel discussions as well as individual presentations
by senior industry professionals. Through the profile of its speakers as well
as the prestige of its academic partner, the Australian School of Business,
we hope to promote the Australia Finance Conference as our annual
marquee event and will endeavour to build the conference into the largest
student led initiative in Australia.
