Does your child attend a community preschool?

Preschool teachers and educators earn up to 30% less than their colleagues in primary schools. Financial pressures are forcing passionate workers out of the services they love.

This issue doesn't just affect teachers and educators. It affects thousands of families across NSW who rely on preschools, especially in regional areas.

To all those parents: If you believe in the future of community preschools, help us fight to save them. We’re holding rallies in Sydney and Lismore on Wednesday, 6 May.

Many preschools will close for part of the day so staff can stand together and call for the much-needed funding. Please keep your child at home or, better yet, bring them with you to our rally - come along and show your support.

So we haven’t seen Michael show his face on CHM’s social media since 2024, but guess who has some capacity for the first time since…never.
