Congratulations to the TPHS Tournament of Minds teams for their exemplary performance on Sunday.

Behind the Threads was awarded first place in secondary Social Sciences and will advance to the NSW final and the Blossom Illusionists were awarded honours in secondary Arts. This was testament to the hard work and dedication of all students.

Friday the 4th of September is Jersey Day – students are permitted to wear a sport jersey over their school shirt, however, are still expected to wear correct school skirt, pants, shoes and jacket on the day.

JERSEY DAY honours Nathan Gremmo a thirteen-year-old from the Hills Area, who was critically injured in an accident. His organs were donated saving the lives of 6 people. UNDER 15s SYDNEY WEST NETBALL KNOCKOUT WIN! 🏐

A fantastic result for our Under 15s netball team yesterday as TPHS took on Cambridge Park High School in the Sydney West Knockout Competition.

After a slow start in the first quarter, the girls found their rhythm and really stepped up against a taller Cambridge Park team. They brought their all, fought hard and showed plenty of Ponds Pride to come away with a 29–19 win!

Such a talented group of girls who should be incredibly proud of their effort, determination and teamwork.

A big thank you to Isabell for stepping in and umpiring for us.

We now progress through to the Gala Day next Friday! 🏐

This Monday was a massive day for our dancers, with students representing The Ponds High School across two major performing arts events!

INSPIRE ARTS CHALLENGE
TPHS came away with some fantastic results at this competition!

1st Place – Cheer
An incredible result, taking out their section against tough competition, including a CAPA high school.

2nd Place – Year 8 Red
A fantastic achievement in one of the largest and most competitive sections of the day, featuring groups from public, independent and Catholic schools.

HILLS PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL
Our Year 7 Gold and Year 8 Gold dancers represented TPHS at the Hills Performing Arts Festival, performing at the Evans Theatre at Panthers Penrith as part of a large-scale celebration of public school performing arts.

A huge congratulations to all of our dancers for representing our school so proudly!
