ACT public school enrolments for the 2027 school year are now open! 🎒

Enrolments are open for all students from preschool to year 12 who are starting at a new school in 2027.

Head to our website to enrol by 5 June to receive an offer from 3 August 2026: https://www.act.gov.au/education-and-training/find-a-school-and-enrol/enrol-in-a-public-school

If your child is enrolling in their Priority Enrolment Area (PEA) school from kindergarten to year 12, you may receive an offer earlier than 3 August 2026 as you are guaranteed a place in your PEA school.

Join us tomorrow (Monday) from 10am to 11am to see what our beautiful little rural preschool has to offer your child in 2027 🌳.

If you’re considering preschool options, this is a great chance to come along, explore our space, and get a feel for our warm and supportive environment.

Thanks to the wonderful planting by this year’s families, P&C and our Tharwa community, the Tharwa Preschool garden is bursting to life! 🌷 Can you spot the pattern starting to form? Pop past and take a look! The display’s only just beginning to take shape. Any guesses on the theme?

A huge thank you to everyone who’s helped create this beautiful burst of colour for our little learners and the whole community to enjoy. We love it so much!

🌷 Little reminder everyone - TODAY is our Floriade in Tharwa celebration! 🌷

From now (12pm) onwards at the Preschool!

Come join us for a free sausage sizzle, juice boxes, and icy poles (while stocks last). Feel free to bring a picnic blanket and any extra snacks or drinks you want to enjoy 🥂

There are giant bubbles and glitter tattoos to keep your little ones happy.

🌷Floriade in Tharwa - Community Celebration 🌷

The P&C would love to invite this year’s preschool families and those from in and around our local community to join us at Tharwa Preschool for a small, but fun-filled spring celebration on Saturday 12 October!

Come and enjoy:
🔵 Giant bubbles
✨ Glitter tattoos
🌭 Sausage sizzle and drinks
🌷 And of course, our beautiful tulip display featuring our beautiful ‘Bubbles’ design.

It’s a free community event, supported by Floriade Community. So bring the family down to the preschool for some bubble fun, lunch and admire our display of tulips, planted by this year’s families and community! 🌷
