๐๐๐Book Week 2026 ๐๐๐
๐ถ๐ตโSymphony of Storiesโ๐ถ๐ต
What a wonderful day of imagination, creativity and fun as we celebrated Book Week 2026 - Symphony of Stories!
Both our Red and Blue Groups joined in the excitement by dressing up as their favourite book characters and sharing the story that their character came from. Our teachers and educators also embraced the theme, with the Red Group teachers bringing โAlpacas with Maracasโ to life, while the Blue Group teachers stepped into the world of โGiraffes Canโt Danceโ.
Book Week is a special opportunity to celebrate the joy of reading and storytelling. Through books, children develop language and literacy skills, expand their imaginations, build empathy and discover new ideas about the world around them.
The day was filled with singing, dancing and plenty of games both indoors and outdoors. Favourite activities included Musical Freeze, The Floor is Lava, Duck Duck Goose, and lots of chasing and tag games with friends. There were smiles, laughter and excitement everywhere you looked!
To finish our celebrations, the Red Group enjoyed watching favourite storybooks come to life on our interactive TV, including โThe Gruffaloโ and โThe Gingerbread Manโ, while the Blue Group relaxed with a viewing of โToy Storyโ.
A huge thank you to all our families for helping children select and create their costumes and for supporting their love of books and reading. Literacy is such an important part of early childhood, laying the foundations for communication, learning, creativity and lifelong success. We are grateful for the wonderful partnerships we share with our families in nurturing a love of stories from an early age.
