2024 -academic year has begun and this year we are kickstarting with students internal GPS for aligned decision making!

In our face to face and online sessions we are continuing to incorporate physical movement and internal regulation as a priority to learning.

We are excited to see where this year takes our starting group who range from 4 to 17!

Here at Transform Tutoring Services we specialise in holistic tutoring.

We focus on the student as they present, THEN work with them to come to a point where they can make learning or academic progress.

Sometimes it looks a little wonky to the parent. I see them thinking 'why are you doing this wellness activity, my focus is math?'

And the answer is there is no point working on the math if the child isn't working from the front part of their brain. Its important for a child to be out of an amygdala state so true learning can be accomplished b the student.

And when we , as tutors , can link the child's truest passions and gifts, in a way they understand, learning, growth and success naturally follow.

We are so excited for the 2024 year and what strides our clients can make of their own choice.

The end of year is fast approaching for our students and for some the completion of their secondary schooling is done and dusted!

Results are flying in left and right and I would like to say that even I am surprised with which the consistencynof success and achievement is turning up.

Central Coast teens - this is for you!

Are you a homeschool or alternative education student on the Central Coast? Do you have time on Wednesdays to come and play?

Join us for a 6-week dive into the skills of
👑 debate,
👑 presenting information to others, and
👑 communicating your ideas.

We'll be pairing this with some time to socialise AND we are holding it outdoors where you can be inspired with plenty of thinking space and nature! 🌳

This is a time to connect, learn and develop your communication (& arguing) skills through debate and presenting your projects and topics of interest.

It's a small group (minimum 6, maximum 9) and will run from Wednesday Nov 1, 2023. - 6 December, 2023

Fiona has over 30 years experience working with teens in sport, education, travel tours, and leisure activities and is a big kid at heart. Using the group autonomy Fiona facilitates the group to a cohesive supportive learning focus interspersed with play and fun.

Working holistically within various education structures and belief systems is always interesting to me - but its rare that I get to hear someone else express the core value of just how unique we each are from the minute we are born.

I love how Ina Lukas of Kairos Healers Academy expresses this view.

Our children ARE WISE. They come to TEACH US... and every one of US beings is truly unique, magic and full of their own individual gift to contribute to the continuation of experience as a community.

As we each remember this wisdom, the nature and existence of humanity also matures.
