PSSA soccer and netball comps completed. We now move on to trials for school softball, tee-ball and cricket teams..

Today, some of our Year 5 students visited Bindook Cottage Preschool. They read stories to the pre-kindergarten children and presented a gift of school uniforms for their dress-up corner. We hope this will support the children’s transition to BIG school. Perhaps, the Year 5 students even met their future Kindergarten buddies!

Today our Yr 4 students visited Davidson High School to participate in a STEM workshop; "Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all." Working in small groups with Yr 9 mentors, our students engaged in hands-on investigations and explored how nature solves problems by using seeds and natural materials. It was a great chance to think like designers and scientists, asking questions about nature’s clever solutions, before designing and making their own prototypes.

The whole school has been on Possum watch this week! We have had a beautiful brushtail possum carrying an enormous baby out and about amongst us during the day. We have been in close contact with our local wildlife carers. Today Mum seems to have finally kicked baby out in to the wide world and she has been scampering about feeding herself.
We will continue to liaise with wildlife carers to ensure both Mum and Bub remain happy and healthy.
