AO Challenge Cup & Rock Climbing at Active OOSH Terranora! 🏆🧗

✨ It's been a big two days for our OOSHies! They took on the AO Challenge Cup, scaled new heights at our Base Zero rock climbing incursion & filled the gaps with discos, pizza parties & plenty of laughs. 🍕🪩 The biggest hits right now? Our new crazy carts & loom bands!

💙 Mixing climbing walls with loom bands builds everything from strength & courage to fine motor skills.

🌱 Reaching for the next hold & discovering new favourite activities helped the children grow in confidence & feel proud of what their bodies can do, supporting a strong sense of wellbeing in My Time, Our Place.

Bounce Day with Active OOSH Terranora! 🤸‍♀️🩷

✨ OOSHies flipped, twisted & tricked their way around Bounce, then soared along the zip line & tackled the parkour course in the X Park! 🚀 Back at the service they slowed things down with some painting 🎨 & tucked into special cookies for afternoon tea. 🍪

💙 Leaping, balancing & landing new moves build strength, coordination & the courage to give something different a go.

🦋 Whizzing down the zip line & nailing new tricks helped the children feel brave & proud of what their bodies can do, aligning with My Time, Our Place: children have a strong sense of identity.

Vacation Care Highlights at Active OOSH Terranora! 🤹‍♀️

✨ The OOSHies have packed a lot into the last couple of days! They played Mystery Box Bingo, headed out on an excursion to Timezone & welcomed The Balancing Man for a special incursion. Every day has brought something new to get excited about.

💙 A mix of games, outings & live shows gives kids fresh experiences that spark curiosity & build confidence in new settings.

🤝 Heading out into the community & welcoming visitors in helped the children explore new places & people, aligning with My Time, Our Place: children are connected with & contribute to their world.

What to pack each day for OOSH:
🧢 Hat: sun safety first!
🍎 A full lunch box: please pack enough for a full day, as we are very active!
💧 A full drink bottle: staying hydrated is important!
👕 A spare change of clothes: just in case we get stuck into some extra messy, creative or adventurous fun! 🎨💦
👟 Closed-in shoes: essential for all activities & for everyone’s safety. Crocs, slides & thongs are a no-go! 🚫
💊 Medication: If your child requires medication, please make sure it is in date, clearly labelled (tablets in a webster pack) & accompanied by the appropriate documentation/authorisation. Please be aware that without the required medication & documentation, your child will not be able to attend OOSH.
😁 A happy smile: the most important item of all!

Fun Father's Day Friday at Active OOSH Terranora! 💙

✨ Last Friday the OOSHies celebrated our weekly raffle winners, recognising kindness, positive behaviour & caring attitudes shown throughout the week. They also got creative with a special Father's Day handprint craft, making something special to take home for Dad. Movie Day took an unexpected turn too, instead of a movie the OOSHies voted to watch a very entertaining Hamster Maze video!

💙 Celebrating kindness & giving children a say in their own fun helps build their confidence, social skills & sense of belonging.
