Year 5–6 Fraction Fun — With Chocolate Crackles!
Our Year 5–6 boys have been working incredibly hard on fractions in all capacities — simplifying, comparing, converting, and applying them in real life situations. And on Friday… they got the ultimate maths surprise.
What better way to learn fractions than by making everyone’s favourite: chocolate crackles.
One group of boys had to reduce the recipe, putting their fraction prowess into action as they shrank each ingredient down. The other group had to increase the recipe, scaling everything up with careful calculations and plenty of teamwork.
There was measuring, mixing, problem solving, and a whole lot of proud smiles — plus the delicious reward at the end. Maths never tasted so good.

Year 3–4 Probability Power!
This term, our Year 3–4 legends have been diving deep into probability — and every week has brought a brand new maths adventure.
They’ve flipped their way through the Coin Toss Challenge, tasted their way through the Jelly Bean Probability Test, rolled their way through the wild and wonderful Dice o rama, and this week… they spun their hearts out with Spinner Magic.
There have been predictions, cheers, surprises, and plenty of “Ooooh what are the chances?” moments. The students have tackled every activity with enthusiasm and big brains switched on.

Prep News
Our Prep superstars have been hopping through the week learning all about kangaroos — and wow, their artwork has been absolutely brilliant.
From big strong legs to tiny joeys tucked in pouches, the kids have created some seriously adorable kangaroo masterpieces. There’s been paint, glue and plenty of giggles… plus a whole lot of very sticky fingers.
These little artists have bounced right into the challenge and done a wonderful job.

What a costume spectacular! Whether it was lovingly handmade or cleverly chosen from the store, every costume was bursting with creativity and imagination.
Well done to our students for rocking their outfits and to our amazing parents for helping turn ideas into reality.

📚🎉 Can’t wait to see all our amazing costumes tomorrow!
The excitement is off the charts — capes are being ironed, wigs are being fluffed, cardboard swords are being taped back together for the 47th time, and somewhere a parent is whispering “Why did I agree to this?”

Tomorrow is going to be a parade of colour, chaos, creativity and absolute character magic.
