💜 SO INCREDIBLY PROUD 💜

We may not have taken home the award tonight, but we are walking away feeling incredibly proud of our beautiful Cuddly Bear Templestowe. 🐻💜

To be named a finalist in the Manningham Community Awards – Community Health and Wellbeing Award is such an honour and something our entire team is incredibly proud of.

For nearly three decades, Cuddly Bear has been part of the Templestowe and Manningham community — caring for, educating and watching generations of children grow. 🥹💜

A huge congratulations to the very deserving winner of the Community Health and Wellbeing Award. 🏆👏

While we didn’t come home with the award, simply being recognised alongside such wonderful organisations within our community means so much to us.

Thank you to our incredible educators, our families — past and present — and everyone who has been part of the Cuddly Bear journey over the years.

This evening, Bec and Natalie are off to the Manningham Council Community Awards, proudly representing our wonderful Cuddly Bear Templestowe! 🐻💜

We are incredibly proud and excited to be FINALISTS for a Manningham Community Award and to have been invited to attend tonight’s awards ceremony. 🏆✨

Being recognised within the community that Cuddly Bear has been part of for so many years means so much to our entire team.

No matter what happens tonight, we already feel incredibly proud to be named a finalist and to have Cuddly Bear recognised alongside so many wonderful people and organisations within our local community. 💜

Services Australia has started balancing CCS for the 2025–26 financial year.

If you get CCS, you need to confirm your family income so your payments can be balanced.

You can confirm your 2025–26 income by:
lodging your tax return (and your partner’s) with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), or
telling Services Australia you do not need to lodge a tax return (even if you’ve already told the ATO).

📢 Important CCS Reminder for Cuddly Bear Families

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If you receive Child Care Subsidy (CCS), you need to confirm your family income so Services Australia can balance your CCS payments for the 2025–26 financial year.

You can confirm your income by:

✅ Lodging your 2025–26 tax return (and your partner’s, if applicable) with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), OR

✅ Letting Services Australia know if you or your partner do not need to lodge a tax return — even if you have already advised the ATO.

💡 Completing this helps Services Australia make sure you received the correct amount of CCS during the financial year.

🌟 Meet Our Educator – Julia 🌟

We are delighted to introduce Julia, one of our wonderful educators here at Cuddly Bear Templestowe ELC & Kindergarten.

Julia holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and has been part of the Cuddly Bear family since 2022. She speaks English and Chinese, helping us support and connect with families from diverse backgrounds.

Julia enjoys sewing, reading, and dining in her spare time, and brings the same creativity and warmth into the classroom each day.

# # 🌟📚 Exciting News! Book Week 2026 is Coming! 📚🌟

**📅 Monday 24 August – Friday 28 August 2026**

We're so excited to celebrate **CBCA Book Week 2026** at **Cuddly Bear Templestowe**! 🎉

This year's theme is **🎼 Symphony of Stories**, and we'll be celebrating all week by inviting our children and educators to **dress up as their favourite book character**.

Whether it's a beloved classic, a magical fairy tale, or a favourite character from a treasured children's book, we can't wait to see everyone's imagination come to life!

# # # 👗 Costume Guidelines

✨ **Your child is welcome to dress up every day during Book Week or choose just one day to join in the fun—it's completely up to them!**

Please remember:

* No scary costumes.
* No fake blood.
* No weapons such as swords or guns.
* If possible, send along the book your child's character is from so we can enjoy reading it together.

Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to inspire a lifelong love of reading, storytelling and imagination. Throughout the week we'll enjoy special stories, creative experiences and lots of book-themed fun!

We can't wait to celebrate with all of our amazing Cuddly Bear families! 💙🐻📚
