📚➕ **Maths at the Dinner Table! (Brace Yourselves 😄)**
Tonight, we’re inviting a *classic family moment* back to life…
You know the one…
“Wait… THAT’S not how you do it!”
“Yes it is!”
“No, we didn’t learn it like that!” 😂
💬 **Here’s your challenge:**
Ask your child to show you **how they solved a maths problem today**. Let them be the teacher!
Then…
😏 You show them **how YOU would have solved it**
👉 It might look different
👉 It might sound different
👉 It might even start a *friendly debate* at the dinner table!
💡 That’s the magic of maths — there’s often more than one way to solve a problem.
💬 Try asking:
• “Why does your way work?”
• “Which way do you think is easier?”
• “Can we both be right?”
❤️ We love seeing students build confidence explaining their thinking — and hearing that maths conversations are happening at home (even the *dramatic* ones 😄).
Let us know… did a “maths debate” break out at your place tonight?

🐣🎉 WHOLE SCHOOL EASTER EGG HUNT – HAPPENING TODAY! 🎉🐣
Today, Wednesday 1st April, Banksia Park School R–6 is buzzing with excitement as we launch our BIGGEST Easter Egg Hunt EVER!
Over 1,000 Easter eggs have been hidden across the school grounds overnight… and students will be hunting high and low to track them down! 🍫🔍
A big thank you to the Foolzi Family for your generous donation and support in making this event possible.
What’s in store:🍫 Egg hunting zones across the school🧺 Team challenges & mystery clues🏃♂️ Surprise “Golden Egg” prizes🐰 A special visit from the Easter Bunny himself!
Due to the rising cost of Easter eggs this year, all eggs have been carefully sourced and will be shared fairly across classes so that every student gets a chance to join in the fun.
📣 Get involved! To help us gauge numbers and show your support, please:👍 Like this post
Parent volunteers are welcome to sign in at the Front Office to join in on the fun.
We look forward to seeing students enjoying this exciting whole-school experience throughout the day!
