Save the date! Wednesday 26th of August is shaping up to be a wonderful day at school, with our Book Week Parade, Art show and Grandparents Day all happening together.

Kids are invited to dress up in their favourite book character for the day. Families are welcome to join us for the assembly, starting at 9.15 am followed by the art show straight after!

Then just before recess at 11am, we’ll be holding a special morning tea for grandparents! There will also be a sausage sizzle available as well as a coffee truck!

We’d love to see you there, its going to be a great day of celebrations.

Exciting news from the Science Room! Our students have started growing oyster mushrooms from a mushroom kit, and they are really starting to sprout. The mushrooms can be found in the library which provide the perfect conditions for our oyster mushrooms.
We are recording weekly notes to see how the mushrooms are growing. It will be exciting to see how they look in week 10!

Welcome back to Term 3! We have had a great start to the term, and we hope you’re ready for another great term of learning. A friendly reminder to please take extra care driving through our school zone. Make sure to drive slowly, watch for children crossing and follow the school crossing monitors instructions.

over the moon. As well as a flower that she was personally given by each child, she received many lovely messages and words of gratitude. There may have been a few tears!

Thanks to the TTGPS community for supporting our Music Icons Quiz Night. It was a fabulous night to celebrate our Diconic Principal's retirement and Di Scott's 45 years of service to education.
Thank you to the very talented hosts - Rohan and Crafty, who kept us all entertained. Special thanks to Ali, Leah and Mel who organised the night, made the decorations, wrapped prizes, set up and helped clean up. Lauren Lunn who photographed and captured the spirit of the evening. Jess Chaplin who ran the creche and entertained 20 kids on a Saturday night.

Today we celebrated International Day of Play with a wonderful walk to Ansteys Hill, where students immersed themselves in nature play, exploring, creating and connecting with the outdoors.
The excitement will continue throughout the day, with a range of play-based activities planned for our students. We have also been fortunate to receive a trailer full of loose parts and play resources, giving children endless opportunities to build, create, problem-solve and use their imaginations.
