A great activity for strengthening fine motor skills while supporting early learning. Children can practise one to one correspondence, colour recognition, and counting, all while building important early maths skills.

What a fantastic start to Term 3! We are so proud of all our LIVA learners for coming back with enthusiasm, confidence, and a readiness to take their learning to the next level.

Knowing letter names is an essential part of building a strong foundation for early literacy. This is where reading begins.

Children first need to know that the letter A is called “A”, not /a/, and that the letter C is called “C”, not /c/.

Letters have names, and while they represent sounds, they don’t make those sounds on their own. It is when letters come together in words that we hear the sounds they represent.
