Good morning, parents, guardians and students,

I hope you are all well and are looking forward to another year at Springside West Secondary College.

There appears to have been some confusion with regard to the start date for the school year. Just to clarify:
There is an orientation for year 8- 12 new students/ families only from 12.30 to 1.30pm on Thursday the 28th of January;
All students will commence classes on Friday the 29th of January.

Hot water tap closed
The hot water tap in E building (that is used by students to fill up noodle cups) will be closed tomorrow and for next week, due to the state that it has been left in in recent weeks.

It will be reopened the following week under the condition that students keep the area tidy and clean up after themselves.

Please bring alternative food for lunch in the meantime.
