🔬✨ Science Week at The Learning Sanctuary Freshwater!

Our Preschool children have been busy exploring all things STEM for National Science Week!

Throughout last week, the children stepped into the roles of scientists, engineers and problem-solvers as they designed and built towers and bridges, created fizzing potions and volcanoes, experimented with invisible ink and investigated sunlight by making their own sun prints.

Through these hands-on experiences, the children were encouraged to wonder, make predictions, test their ideas and try again, while working together and sharing their thinking with their peers.

STEM learning in the early years provides wonderful opportunities for children to follow their curiosity, get creative and develop persistence, collaboration and problem-solving skills through hands-on discovery.
