What a wonderful World Environment Day at Big Childcare!

Throughout the week, our services came together to commemorate Reconciliation Week with fun and meaningful activities, including artworks, storytelling, planting experiences, and community connections. 👋♥️

These special moments encouraged children to learn, connect, and celebrate culture, unity, and respect while having fun together.

A week filled with learning, creativity, and connection 💙

During Reconciliation Week, children expressed themselves through art, planting activities, and hands-on experiences that celebrated culture, community, and togetherness.

As we began Reconciliation Week with National Sorry Day, our Wellard team came together for a meaningful day of learning, reflection and connection with the Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation.

Through stories shared by Elders, performances by Tim Kelly, and support from Palmerston, Yogum, and Moorditj Koort children. Our Wellard team connected with their local community and took time to reflect and acknowledge the strength of the Stolen Generations survivors and their families.

Colouring and writing activities at Big Childcare OSHC give children the chance to get creative, share their ideas and enjoy learning through play.

Today, we acknowledge and reflect on National Sorry Day, a day to recognise the strength and resilience of the Stolen Generations, their families, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
