The DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) is an official, internationally recognised French language diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education, recognising students’ ability and achievements in French.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and commitment.

From Nets to 3D Shapes 📐🧊

Our Year 1 students have been learning about 3D shapes by exploring how 2D nets can be folded and assembled into three-dimensional objects.

Working alongside our Stage 3 students, they carefully cut, folded and constructed a range of 3D shapes while developing their understanding of faces, edges and vertices. The collaborative lesson provided an opportunity for older students to support younger learners as they built their mathematical knowledge through hands-on investigation.

A great example of students learning together through practical, engaging mathematics.

🎸 Meet Our Senior Rock Steady Band! 🎤🎹🥁

Our Senior Rock Steady band has been putting in the hard work this term, developing their musical talents while learning the importance of teamwork, resilience and confidence.

Each rehearsal sees our students grow as musicians, supporting one another as they master their instruments and prepare to perform together as a band. It’s been wonderful to watch their commitment and enthusiasm shine through.

We can’t wait to see our Senior Rock Steady group continue to grow and share their music with the school community. Keep rocking! 🤘🎶

🌟 Junior Dance Group Shines at the Sutherland Shire Music Festival! 🌟

What an incredible few days for our Junior Dance Group! 💃✨

Our talented dancers had the wonderful opportunity to perform at the Sutherland Shire Music Festival, taking to the stage for both the matinee and evening performances.

From the very first step to the final pose, our dancers performed with confidence, energy and enormous pride. They truly shone like stars! ⭐️

We are so incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm. A huge congratulations to every one of our dancers — what a wonderful achievement!

A special thank you to all of the teachers involved for their time, dedication and incredible support in preparing our students for these performances. We are so grateful for everything you do to help our students shine. ❤️

And of course, thank you to our wonderful families and supporters for cheering our dancers on and helping make the performances so special.

🍕 A Slice of Success for Year 2/3!🍕

As our Term 2 Line Point winners, Year 2/3 voted to celebrate their achievement with a pizza party!

Before enjoying their delicious creations, students wrote their own pizza recipes and followed each step to make their pizzas from scratch. It was a fun and tasty way to combine learning, teamwork and celebration.

Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that leave the biggest impact. 💙

One particularly special interaction last week reminded us why our internationally recognised Intergenerational Program is so important.

When Aoife first sat down with this resident, she wasn’t having the best of days. Through simple conversation, shared colouring and genuine kindness, Aoife helped brighten her morning. By the end of their time together, the resident was smiling, laughing, chatting and happily colouring in alongside her new friend.

These are the moments that can’t be measured. Our students aren’t just learning in the classroom—they’re learning compassion, empathy and the power of human connection.

Thank you, Aoife, for bringing so much joy to someone else’s day. We are so proud of the kindness and care our students show every time they visit Goodhew Gardens.

A wonderful morning at Goodhew Gardens! 🌼🎶

Our Year 2/3 students had the pleasure of visiting Goodhew Gardens as part of our internationally recognised Intergenerational Program.

Residents were treated to a special musical performance by our talented students before everyone enjoyed spending time together completing some colouring activities. It was wonderful to see the smiles, conversations and friendships shared across generations.

These visits provide meaningful opportunities for our students to build empathy, confidence and strong community connections, while bringing plenty of joy to our friends at Goodhew Gardens.

Thank you to the wonderful staff and residents for another memorable visit. We’ll see you in a fortnight with another group of our students, ready to share more music, laughter and special moments together. 💙💛
