In the out-of-school hours space, some moments are easy to overlook, yet they are often when curiosity flourishes, inspiring deeper learning🌿

During Reconciliation Week at St Nicholas OOSH Glendale, these moments became part of something larger – an emerging understanding of connection, not just to each other, but to place, culture and community🖤💛❤️

Here’s how this was explored during the week:
🤲Introducing Awabakal language into daily routines
🎨Hands-on, creative experiences
📖Storytelling and shared experiences
🪢Incorporating perspectives from the service families

Fostering and embedding these experiences over time has supported St Nicholas OOSH Glendale to build a shared understanding in ways that are meaningful, connected and sustained🫶

At St Nicholas OOSH, we believe that when our people grow, our communities thrive🌱

We’re proud to be partnering with KARBEN Training Solutions - National ID 91167 to support five of our Nominated Supervisors in completing their Diploma of School Age Education and Care🎓👏

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to lifelong learning and creating meaningful pathways for our educators - empowering them to deepen their knowledge, strengthen their leadership capability, and continue to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families🫶📚

By undertaking this Diploma, our team will build on their existing expertise, gaining new insights into best practice, leadership, and high-quality program delivery in Outside School Hours Care💡💭

It’s an investment not only in their individual growth, but in the ongoing quality and strength of our services🚀🌟

We’re excited to walk alongside our educators on this journey and celebrate the dedication they bring to their roles every day✨🩵
