💰 Smart with Money Starts Here!
On Monday, students from 10 Maths3 and 10 Maths4 took part in a two-hour My Financial Future workshop, building practical money skills to help them make confident financial decisions now and into the future.

Students explored important real-world topics, including understanding payslips and tax, budgeting, building emergency funds, developing savings habits, superannuation, government grants and the risks of debt and Buy Now, Pay Later services.

The workshop gave students valuable strategies to make their money go further, prepare for their first job and make smarter financial choices as they move towards adulthood.

A big thank you to My Financial Future for delivering this engaging and practical learning experience, proudly funded by the NAB Foundation.

“Last Thursday, our peer leaders, accompanied by Mrs Dubourg, visited local primary schools and met with Year 6 students who are enrolled to commence at Taree High School in 2027. The peer leaders facilitated team-building activities and assisted the students in starting their transition booklet, which is designed to help them learn more about our school and support their move to secondary education.”

Taree High School P&C is running a delicious mango fundraiser to help raise much-needed funds for our local public high school. 💛

The funds raised will go towards a variety of things across the school and directly benefit our students.

Our mangos come straight from the farm and are not sprayed with anything to speed up the ripening process. They are left to ripen naturally for longer — meaning they taste better and retain more of their natural goodness!
