Brighter Beginnings is a free service that can connect families with support for:
• Parenting challenges
• Financial stress
• Substance use
• Family breakdown
• Housing concerns
• Mental health and wellbeing

They can also provide practical assistance with completing forms, budgeting, and safety planning.

If you feel your family could benefit from this support, please don’t hesitate to speak with our Centre Management team. We are here to help and can organise a confidential referral to connect you with the services you need. 💛

🚑 This week our Explorers, Discoverers and Inventors loved having a special visit from our local Ambulance Service and Paramedic Mitch - one of our very own family members!

Mitch spoke to the children about how to identify different types of emergencies and when to call 000. They then had the wonderful opportunity of having a look inside the Ambulance! 🚨

🦋 Last week we had a magical surprise in our Inventors Room! The children were so excited to see the beautiful butterfly emerge from its chrysalis after eagerly following its journey over recent weeks - from a tiny little caterpillar all the way into to an Orchid Swallowtail butterfly. With lots of excitement and curiosity throughout, they explored each stage of the butterfly life cycle learning about its transformation. Today, the Inventors were very excited to watch it spread its wings and fly away.

This hands-on adventure sparked lots of curiosity, encouraged observation, and helped the children discover just how amazing nature can be. 🦋✨

Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, supported, and confident in their future, but for many children in foster care, that is far from reality.

Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt their learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

That is why we are taking part in National Pyjama Day.✨🧸🌛 National Pyjama Day will be held this July the 24th.
