Faith Family Early Learning Taree Providing your child with a loving and education learning environment. Open 7.30am-5.30pm all year r We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

At Faith Family Early Learning we are open from 7.30 am - 5.30pm. We are open for 52 weeks of the year and close for weekends and public holidays. We provide all meals and nappies while your child is attending the centre. Happy Rompers is a 4 room centre, these rooms are divided into 0-2yrs, 2-3yrs, 3-4yrs and 4-5yrs.

One of the most powerful things we can do in early childhood is reading books. Reading together one-on-one, allowing children to explore books on their own, reading in small and large groups - all of this not only develops a child's vocabulary, it also develops imagination, helps them understand emotions, enhances feelings of attachment and belonging, and helps them develop speech sounds. Through reading together children learn the building blocks of future reading and comprehension skills as well as empathy through looking at the world through each character's eyes.

The beauty of growing our own sensory gardens is that the children get to explore them with all their senses. By allowing the children to pick, play and craft with the foliage and flowers they can feel the different textures, smell the flowers or the aroma of the leaves as they're crushed, and listen to the sounds of a crisp snap of a stem or the soft rustle of a leaf as they scrunch it.

Open-ended painting (process art) provides the best opportunities for creativity and learning. When children are given the time and freedom to experiment with quality materials they learn to express their ideas through mark-making, and develop refined skills at symbolism and representation. They develop more confidence and a secure sense of self when there is no "right" way to create (such as with crafts or colouring sheets) and they can lean into their own expression of art.
