Darwin Montessori Early Learning Centre in Taree NSW

As part of our 2026 NAIDOC Week celebrations, our children, families, educators and visitors came together to create a community handprint display, symbolising connection, belonging and respect.

This video shares some of the meaningful learning experiences from our NAIDOC celebrations at Darwin Montessori Early Learning Centre, while reflecting our ongoing commitment to embedding Aboriginal perspectives throughout the year and supporting children’s understanding of Aboriginal cultures, histories, traditions and connection to Country.

The voiceover is shared by the children of Darwin Montessori alongside one of our educators, a proud Biripi woman, who has generously shared her language and culture with our learning community.
