It's with heavy hearts that I would like to say goodbye and thank you for your support over the last couple of years.
It has been an absolute pleasure being apart of our community, I have learnt so much and have loved watching our children grow, develop and make long lasting friendships. You will all be truly missed.

I would also like to thank Thrive Kids as they have provided amazing support for myself especially in the early stages of opening and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to become a family day care educator.

Today we made a home for our snail friends. 🐌
Snails have become an important part in our day, so to help support our interest we created a lovely secure home to help us understand what snails need to survive as well as a safe place to keep our friends while we are away.
We included soil, plants, a cup for the snails to hide in, and a plate for their food.

We celebrated Halloween with some special activities today. We first made a spider with its own environment using clay, sticks and tp rolls. We then took a closer look at a pumpkin. Taking the top off we used our hands and spoons to scoop and transfer all the contents out. We were very surprised to find how sticky and gooey it was. Lots of fun and creativity today!🎃❤️🕷

Earth Hour 🌏❤️🌱
To celebrate Earth Hour, today we made some Earth inspired seed balls. Made from recycled paper, water and a variety of flower seeds. The children enjoyed the process of ripping up and blending the paper followed by moulding them into little Earths mixed with seeds. These balls can be planted in the ground now or dried out and planted later.

Today, we used our feet as a painting tool for our collaborative artwork. The children had fun walking and running through the paint while also transferring it across the paper to create this amazing piece. This was an absolute success. There were many giggles heard, and the children showed respect for the activity's rules and each other. ❤️
