It's the last day today (Friday) for our #1 Scholastic Book. Book Fair opens at 8:30am. Don't forget to come into the library today and grab your last minute books! Parents and carers are also welcome until 3:30. EFTPOS is available!
The guessing competition of "How many M&M's are in the Jar?" also finishes at 12:30. The winner will be notified soon after and invited to spend their $20 Book Fair voucher.

Update on Arrival - Sydney Oztag Excursion.

Dear Parents and Carers
Just letting you know the Sydney Oz tag Excursion are due back to Tamworth South Public School at 7:15pm. The bus is quiet a large so please do not park to close to the bus shelter, so there is ample room for it to park.

Sydney Oztag Excursion have departed Sydney. They are expected to have a 6–7-hour trip home. The estimated time of arrival is between 6:30pm-7:30pm. Staff will send out another SMS when the bus is roughly an hour from Tamworth South Public School.

Our Oz tag teams have had a great day playing in Sydney! Students have played their absolute best, had a lot of fun, and are looking forward to more games tomorrow.

Book Fair Guessing Competition
How many 'M&M's' are in the jar?
20 cents a guess with a prize of a $20 Book Fair voucher for the winner. The competition closes 12:30pm on Friday.
(Hint: more than 100 and less than 1,000!)

Students may bring home a Book Fair 'Wish List'. This is by no means an order form or shoping list and there is no obligation to purchase. If you would like to make a purchase of anything your child has put on their Wish List (or something they didn't!) you can either send them with money to buy it, come in yourself anytime the Fair is open, or make a secure online prepayment. Details for this are attached and on the back of the Wish List or on the Book Fair brochure sent home with students last week. Peel Network Awards Celebration

We were thrilled to recognise three outstanding members of our school community at the Education Week Peel Network Awards last Thursday.

Nylah Thomas received the Outstanding Student Award for being a positive role model and her active participation in numerous competitions, sporting teams, and events.

Justin Welsh was honoured with the Outstanding Community Member Award for his exceptional work teaching our students the Gamilaroi language and culture.

Dominique Benson earned the Outstanding Staff Award in recognition of her excellence in teaching, her dedication to supporting colleagues, and the significant time she invests in developing our students’ sporting skills across the school.

Congratulations to all our award recipients for their remarkable contributions!
