Returned last night from a successful Northern University Tour with Tamworth High School, Oxley High School and Glen Innes High School and of course some of our Calrossy students. We visited six universities and nine campuses, they included the Queensland University Of Technology, University Of Queensland, Griffith University, Sunshine Coast University, Southern Cross University and Bond University over a four day tour. Backing up early this morning for a 5am leave to take students with Tamworth High and Oxley High down to the University Of Newcastle schools visit Day. One could say it has been an enormous week.

The AUS Space Summit is in full swing on the second day. Just enjoyed a session with an international flavour, real opportunity and capacity perhaps for some collaboration at a science level with schools in other countries throughout the world. A chat with our head of sides might be a good idea who knows where this might take us and our students?

I heard from Luc, UQ Student, Electrical Aerospace Engineer, some fantastic advice and insight. Our students can really relate to and learn from luc’s experiences.
