Friday Sport Fun! 🏃♀️⚽️🎾
Friday Sport Days are always a highlight! Today our students enjoyed a wonderful mix of activities, from catching and throwing skills to soccer dribbling, Indians and Teepees, skipping and 44 Home.

Writing Groups in Year 5 ✏️
Our Year 5 students are building their writing skills by learning how sentences come together, identifying nouns and verbs, and discovering how adjectives and adverbs can add extra detail and interest to their ideas. ✨

Our Year 4 students gathered in our church this morning for their Grade Mass, sharing a beautiful opportunity to pause and reflect.

🎨🔬 A Day of Creativity, Curiosity & Discovery!
Today our Year 2 students had a wonderful time visiting the Tamworth Regional Gallery, where science and the creative arts came together in a fun and hands-on way!
Through the Creative Studio and Innovation Studio sessions, our students had the opportunity to experiment, investigate, create and see how science can inspire art and creativity.

🌬️ Word of the Week: BRISK! 🌬️
Lights, camera, action! 🎬 Our students had lots of fun learning about the word brisk this morning as Mrs Mavin took on the role of weather reporter, with Mrs James behind the camera! 📹🍂
We are on the lookout for opportunities to see students use brisk throughout the week, building their vocabulary and earning points along the way!

👔 Father’s Day Reminders happening during Week 7
Father’s Day is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to celebrating all the wonderful Dads, Pops and special father figures in our school community!
🔹Thursday 3 September | Father’s Day Stalls
Our wonderful P&F have been busy preparing some special gifts for our students to choose from. All gifts are $5 each, with a maximum of 2 gifts per child.
All students will have the opportunity to visit the Infants & Primary stalls with their teacher and class during their allocated time.

Maths Meets the Zoo! 🦁📏
Today our Year 2 mathematicians put their measuring skills to work as they designed their very own zoos! 🐘🦒
Using tiles and arrays, students measured and compared area by creating rows and columns and seeing how these patterns help us find the total area. There were plenty of creative zoo designs and clever thinking.

Our Year 6 students were hands-on this morning with some very important lifesaving skills as part of their annual CPR Awareness Program!
With the fantastic Mr Cameron McFarlane guiding them through practical CPR and compression techniques, our students gained valuable knowledge and confidence that could make a real difference in an emergency.
A big thank you to Cameron for sharing his expertise, and to our wonderful Year 6 teachers for giving our students this important opportunity to learn skills that could one day help save a life!

3M's Turn at Calala Cottage 📜 🏚️
Yesterday our year 3 students headed to Calala Cottage for a special glimpse into Tamworth's past. They had a wonderful time discovering how people lived in days gone by and listening to the stories by Mike and Melissa that brought history to life and plenty of fascinating artefacts and hands-on activities to enjoy.
We can’t wait for 3P to enjoy this wonderful experience next Monday.
