Last week, some of our students proudly represented Bullimbal School at a tenpin bowling tournament! 🏆

It was wonderful to see everyone working together, encouraging one another, trying their best and, most importantly, having a great time! 😊

We are so proud of the way our students participated and supported each other throughout the day.

Our students take part in maths activities every day, building their skills through hands-on, engaging experiences.

Over the past two weeks, we have been focusing on addition and subtraction. Students have been developing their understanding through practical activities, making connections and having lots of opportunities to practise their skills.

It has been fantastic to see students getting involved, having a go and celebrating their successes! 🌟👏

Students are supported with personalised communication systems that enable them to express their thoughts, feelings, ideas and choices in all areas of their lives. Whether using speech, PODD or high-tech AAC devices such as Proloquo, every form of communication is valued and celebrated.

With the right tools and support, students are empowered to connect with others, build meaningful relationships and confidently share their unique voices with the world. 🗨️

🎉 In celebration of Education Week 2026 and its theme Inspiring Excellence, we are proud to announce that Bullimbal School has received an 'Excelling' report from the recent External Validation process! 🎉

The External Validation (EV) process is where schools review their progress and achievements, sharing evidence of their improvement journey. A panel of education experts assesses this evidence and recognises different levels of achievement— including 'Delivering', Sustaining and Growing” and “Excelling”— in a vareity of areas, which the panel use to highlight strengths and provide valuable feedback.

A key part of our success is the active role students play in shaping our school. Student voice helps guide our decisions and ensures our learning environment supports everyone’s growth.

This outstanding result reflects the hard work, dedication, and passion of our staff, students, and community as we continue to inspire excellence in learning and teaching.
