Sharing just in case any of our community loves The Chronicles of Narnia as much as we do!

Join us at the Tamworth library as we host the next UNE TamTalks! 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' has enchanted readers for 75 years, which compliments the 75th anniversay of the Central Northern Regional Library service, and is why the title was selected for our One Book One Region event.

Joined by UNE Associate Professor in English Literary Studies, Dr. Elizabeth Hale, she will delve into the marvelous world of children's literature along with C.S Lewis’ book. and how they still inspire readers to this day.

Meet Dr Hayley, now available for science tutoring and learning coaching at Crossroads Education!

We’re excited to welcome Hayley to Crossroads Education and have her available for tutoring and learning coaching.

Hayley is an early-career scientist with a PhD in the biological sciences. Her speciality is in biology, agricultural sciences and genetics, with a passion for fungal pathogens that affect crops. Hayley grew up in Melbourne before moving to Tamworth to work as a research officer. She has a history working with young people as both a swimming teacher and instructing at a university level. Hayley is a strong believer that learning how to think through a scientific question and clearly applied, written knowledge is the key to good science. In her spare time she enjoys reading fantasy novels and watching anime.

Dr Hayley will be available for:
- Tutoring for university-level biology and agricultural sciences
- Year 11 and 12 learning coaching for science subjects

If you or your child are looking for additional support in science, get in touch with Crossroads Education on (02) 6762 0778 to enquire about Hayley’s availability.
