🚑 Building Work-Ready Skills! ❤️‍🩹

Today, our Year 10 students took part in First Aid and CPR training, developing practical skills that will prepare them for both the workplace and real-life situations.

From learning how to respond confidently in an emergency to understanding the importance of staying calm and taking action, these are valuable skills our students can carry with them well beyond the classroom.

We’re proud to provide opportunities that help our students become capable, confident and work-ready young people. 👏

Thanks to Don from Ability Plus Training for sharing your knowledge and skills with our staff and students. Well done, Year 10! 🌟

Congratulations to our students who were selected in the Charleville and District Athletics team. 🏆👟🏃🏃‍♀️

Costume Parade: On Monday, students can dress up as a book character. A parade will be held from 10am – 11am where students will get to show off their costumes! Parents and the community are invited to come along to watch and support the kids.
Heaviest Book Judging: We are having a competition for who ever can bring in the heaviest book! On Tuesday we will weigh the books and find the heaviest book!
Smallest Book Judging: Students can find the smallest book they can. The book must be a real book that is published. On Wednesday we will find the smallest book!
Bookmark Craft: At lunch times, students will get to create their own bookmark.
Extreme Reading Photo: Students can take a photo of them reading in the most extreme way for example sky diving while reading! Photos are to be printed out or to be emailed to Miss Collins at [email protected].
Where’s Wally Hunt: Each day students will get to go hunting for Wally and his friends around the school.

We haven’t forgotten about the brick orders and it’s not too late to order one if you would like your families name to be permanently etched in Tambo SS history. We will be processing the orders very soon so contact Cindy at the school if you’d like to add a brick to our order. 46217333 or [email protected]

💚💛 National Principals’ Day 💛💚

Today, on National Principals’ Day, I’m reminded just how much of a privilege and an honour it is to lead Tambo State School.

Our school is so much more than classrooms and buildings — it’s our students, our dedicated staff, our families and the wonderful community that surrounds and supports us. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a school with such a proud history, strong sense of community and exciting future.

Thank you to everyone who makes Tambo State School the very special place it is. It is an absolute privilege to be your Principal. 💚💛
