Congratulations Isla! 🤩

Isla has been selected as the winner of the ‘2025 NRL Festive Footy Mascot Colouring-In Competition’. As part of her prize, Isla has won a free jersey of her choice from any NRL team! 🏈🐅

The NRL Schools Rugby League is a wonderful initiative that connects school staff and students with Rugby League, providing fantastic opportunities for our students throughout the year. Thank you to the NRL Schools Ambassador Program! 👏 Play Rugby League Western Sydney

We are so proud of how wonderfully our new Kindergarten students have settled into school this week. On Wednesday, our Koalas class had fun reading ‘Tom goes to Kindergarten’ by Margaret Wild, before making and decorating their very own paper hats.

Our staff have enjoyed seeing Kindergarten make new friends, learning routines, and embracing school life with such confidence.

It has been amazing to see our students’ enthusiasm, resilience and big smiles grow as they begin their learning journey at TPS. 💙📚

🎉 What a great day at Tallong PS! 🎉

The day kicked off in the most festive way with a visit from Tallong Rural Fire Brigade who arrived with a very special guest - Santa! 🎅
Santa treated our students to lollies as a reward for their amazing effort and hard work throughout 2025, while the Tallong RFS also handed out some awesome hats to match. 🧑‍🚒🚒

We the jumped straight into our Colour Fun Run, and what a blast it was! 🌈
Our students had an absolute ball getting covered in colour thanks to our incredible volunteers, while the Tallong RFS helped keep everyone cool and refreshed along the way.

To finish off this unforgettable day, we celebrated our Year 6 walk-out, marking their final day of primary school. 🩵
Tallong PS will truly miss each and every one of our Year 6 students, but we are so incredibly proud of them and excited as they head into the next chapter of their journey into high school!

Not only was today fantastic, but Term 4 has been full of wonderful celebrations and achievements. Keep an eye on our page over the school holidays for some sneak peeks at everything we've accomplished! ✨

Yesterday, all students and staff came together and showed great respect at our in-school assembly, led by our Year 6 students. Our Year 6s spoke about the importance of Remembrance Day, and that, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause for one minute of silence to honour and remember all those who have served for our country.

🌹 We will remember them. Lest we forget. 🌹

🍎✨ World Teachers’ Day 2025 ✨🍎

World Teachers’ Day is a special time to celebrate teachers around the globe for their dedication, passion, and genuine care for students. 🩵

At TPS, our teachers are exactly that — and so much more! They continuously inspire, motivate, and support every TPS student to do their best each and every day. 🌟

To mark the occasion, our students (with the help of Holley-Rae) created a secret video surprise for our teachers. This afternoon, our students and staff gathered together to watch the heartfelt video, and it’s safe to say all our TPS teachers felt truly appreciated and valued. 💐 Our students did a fantastic job showing their gratitude and love for their teachers!

So much fun was had by everyone - our students (and our parents/carers) showed off some awesome dance moves! 🤩

A huge thank you to our amazing Tallong Public School Parents and Citizens Association for all their organisation, effort, and time in making this event such a success. 🩵

And a special shout-out to Mr & Mrs Rups for bringing the magic with their awesome lighting and smoke machine — it really set the scene! 🌈✨
