Aussie Hoops kicks off again for Term 4!

For reasons beyond our control, the start date for Aussie Hoops will now be FRIDAY AUGUST 14TH, 2026.

Jump on and register your little one to learn all the fundamental skills associated with basketball and team sports.

Venue: Maryborough Sports and Leisure Centre.
Age: 4-8 years mixed

Day: Fridays

Time. 4:15 pm - 5:05pm

Thank you so much to all community members who answered our plea for heritage red bricks to restore our chimneys. We have been able to successfully sourced enough bricks and are so grateful that everyone was willing to jump in and help us out.

Talbot Primary was very proud to be included in the Talbot Anzac Day march. It was a very moving ceremony and our year 6 leaders represented our school beautifully when laying the wreathe.
We received the topic for our Remembrance Day essays from Skip ~ The Battle of Beersheba. Our year 5 and 6 students will research this battle and write essays in Term 3, aiming to receive the honour of reading their essay at the Remembrance Day service.

As we wrap up Term 1, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our students, staff, families and community.

We finished with a gorgeous Easter bonnet parade and door prizes. As well as the completion of our new basketball court surfacing.

We wish everyone a safe and relaxing break and look forward to seeing you all in Term 2.
