Apologies for being quiet over the January School holidays, we were taking a much needed break.

But! If your Creative wants something fun to do, Spencil has their art prize happening for ages 13 and under. Fantastic opportunity for all!

We have had to cancel our October round of workshops due to circumstances out of our control 😞

This is not a goodbye but a see you in the new year!

We will be hosting workshops in our usual art space and cannot wait to see you there!!

🎉 Calling all young artists and storytellers — entries are NOW OPEN! 🎉

The Threatened Species Art and Writing Competition (TSAC) is back for its 18th year, and it’s your chance to get creative, get messy, and make a difference! 🖍️🦎✍️

Whether you love to draw, paint, write poems or tell stories, we want to see how YOU would speak up for Australia’s threatened plants and animals. 🌿🐨

Open to kids and teens across Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly, TSAC is all about using your imagination to help protect the wildlife we love — and having fun doing it!

🎨🎉 Check these out!!! 🎉🎨

LCs worked extremely hard this afternoon learning sgraffito (paint based) technique. Then experimented with curating their own series!

Impressed is an understatement! We had LCs focus on plants, Roblox, Minecraft and even bananas- having difference allowed their amazing personalities to speak with their technique and skill.

Congratulations LCs!!!

🎨🎉A morning with the PCs (Petite Creatives ages 2-5) and MCs (Mini Creatives ages 5-8) is a morning well spent!! 🎉🎨

We had so much fun experimenting with leaves, sticks, bubble wrap, and so much more! We produced not one but two gorgeous pieces, a beautiful A3 work and a bright colourful vase using our favorite techniques for our workshop ‘Anything but Serious Surface Design’.

Thank you PCs and MCs I adored your works and hope you had an absolute ball producing them!!

The Paddington Art Prize team is excited to announce the launch of the Young Paddo Prize, a new concurrent annual national exhibit of 20 young national finalists whose A4 paintings on paper draw inspiration from the Australian landscape and environment.

🎉🎉🎨 Workshops Postponed!! 🎨🎉🎉

We are sorry to announce that our school holiday workshops have been postponed due to hall booking predicaments (double bookings, electoral commisions etc)😔

HOWEVER- This is a see you later Mini and Little Creatives not a goodbye!!

We will be back next school holidays and may even run some weekend arty fun between now and then!

We hope to see you there MCs and LCs! Until we are creating together again, have a wonderful holiday season, eat lots of chocolate and make time to for your creative side to shine!!
