What an absolute buzzing experience we had today with Dunc from Duncs honey π― Dunc's Honey
The children learnt so many interesting facts and information about π bees and the children had the opportunity to learn first hand all about the roles and responsibilities of π bees in our environment.
It was fantastic to witness first hand how honey is made. The children even got to look closely at honey comb and taste test some wholesome fresh honey straight from Duncs π
Thankyou for this wonderful experience!

World Bee day 2026
π World Bee Day π
Did you know bees and other pollinators help produce more than 75% of the worldβs crops? They play a vital role in our food supply and healthy ecosystems.
This World Bee Day is a great reminder to help protect bees by:
πΌ Planting flowers
πΏ Avoiding pesticides where possible
π‘ Creating bee-friendly gardens
πΌ While enjoying parks and gardens, you can help keep children safe by:
β’ Encouraging children to stay calm around bees
β’ Avoiding walking barefoot in grass where bees may be
β’ Checking drinks or food outdoors before taking a sip or bite
π©Ή If a child is stung:
β’ Move away from the area calmly
β’ Remove the sting if visible (scrape it away if possible)
β’ Wash the area and apply a cold pack to reduce pain and swelling
β’ Seek medical help if there are signs of an allergic reaction
