🔬✨ Our Little Scientists journey continues! 🌈

This weekend, our Leadership Team completed their second training session with Little Scientists, exploring the fascinating world of Optics! 🪞💡

From colours, mirrors and shadows to creating rainbows and investigating how light travels, our team enjoyed an interactive and inspiring day of learning, discovery and hands-on STEM experiences.

We explored how to nurture children’s natural curiosity, encourage inquiry-based learning and co-develop meaningful STEM projects with children aged 0–8 years, while connecting these rich learning experiences to the EYLF V2.0.

We are so excited to be working towards becoming certified Little Scientists Houses across all three of our Honeybears centres! 🐻🔬

A big thank you to Little Scientists for another wonderful learning experience. We cannot wait to bring these ideas back to our centres and inspire our little scientists to question, investigate, experiment and discover the world around them! ❤️🍯🐻

Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators Day by reminding our incredible educators just how valued, appreciated and loved they are! 🥰

At Honeybears, our educators are Queens of Learning 👑✨ so naturally, they needed to be treated as such! 👸💕

A huge thank you to our amazing team for the love, care, patience, creativity and passion you bring to the children every single day. You make such a difference in the lives of our little Honeybears children, and we are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

We are looking for someone who:
✨ Loves cooking and preparing fresh, nutritious meals
✨ Has a passion for providing healthy food for young children
✨ Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
✨ Has food safety and food handling qualifications
✨ Is friendly, caring and enjoys being part of a supportive team

You will be joining an experienced and supportive culinary team, with each of our three beautiful centres having their own dedicated Cook.

🎄✨ Christmas in July at Honeybears! ✨🎄

On 31st July, our amazing Honeybears team got together for a festive night out, and we went all in on the Christmas in July theme! 🎅🏼🎁

There were festive outfits, plenty of laughs, delicious food, lots of Christmas cheer and, of course, our fun and very light-hearted staff awards! 🏆

It was such a lovely opportunity for everyone to step away from the everyday hustle, let their hair down and enjoy some quality time together. ❤️

We are so lucky to have a team that can work hard, have a laugh and enjoy making memories together.

🎄❤️ A night full of festive fun, laughter and a whole lot of Honeybears spirit! ❤️🍯🐻

📚✨ The Green Bears at the Book Week Parade! ✨📚

Last week, our Green Bears had a very special outing to Sylvania Heights Public School to join their annual Book Week Parade! 💛

The children were captivated by all the wonderful costumes, excitedly spotting familiar characters like Where’s Wally? and The Wiggles, and sharing their discoveries with their friends.

They were then invited to join the parade themselves! Some confidently walked alongside their friends, others made new connections along the way, and some were especially excited to walk with their siblings. 🥰

It was such a beautiful opportunity for our children to connect with our local school community, build confidence in a new environment and celebrate their love of books, storytelling and imagination.

We loved watching our Green Bears proudly take part and experience that wonderful sense of belonging within their wider community. ❤️🍯🐻

💙🦸‍♀️ Superhero Week for a Super Cause! 🦸‍♂️💙

Last week, our Honeybears educators swapped their uniforms for capes as we celebrated Superhero Week across all of our centres! From Marvel heroes to magical superheroes, there were plenty of smiles, laughter and fun shared with our children.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our wonderful Honeybears families, we were proud to raise funds for Bear Cottage.

The annual event honours the bravery of children with life-limiting conditions while raising vital funds for Bear Cottage, New South Wales’ only children’s hospice. Bear Cottage plays a crucial role in supporting families caring for children with life-limiting or terminal illnesses, providing essential care, respite and comfort during some of life’s most challenging moments.

At Honeybears, giving back to our community and supporting local charities is an important part of our philosophy. We are grateful for every family who contributed and helped make a meaningful difference through this special week.

🧸💤 Pyjama Week at Honeybears! 💤🧸

What better way to bring a little extra fun to the week than spending the day in our comfiest pyjamas! 🥰✨

Last week our incredible educators and team embraced the fun, and it was so lovely to take some time to laugh, have a little fun together and enjoy some special moments as a team. ❤️

We absolutely loved seeing everyone’s cosy, creative and fun pyjama outfits! 💤🌙
