Run Forest Run

Hi Run Forest Runners,

We’re super happy that our beautiful city is opening up and we will be able to hold events and gather together with more certainty going forward in ‘22.

However, due to the quickly approaching date of Run Forest Run and with still uncertainly around school age children and teens, testing etc we have decided to postpone this event from 3rd April to a future date which will be advised as soon as our applications etc have been approved.

As a result of this postponement we will refund all entries to date and start afresh with a new date for the event very soon. Details will be emailed to participants shortly and refunds will be made by Friday, 11th March, 2022.

Thank you so much for your patience and support through a challenging year of postponement and rescheduling. We are committed to this event and see it as a wonderful opportunity for schools, community and runners to get together and join in the fun of our amazing Sydney bushland.

Due to the extension of the lockdown in Sydney we are postponing Run Forest Run. We are committed to the event and are currently liaising with Council and National parks to set a new date. We will be advising within the next two weeks of the options and a new date.

In the meantime, stay safe and well and enjoy the stunning bushland at our doorstep.

Run Forest Run is a community event for all ages and abilities. It winds its way through the picturesque Garigal National Park in Forestville. Happening on Sunday 12 September, 2021

All distances start and finish at Forestville Park, and enter the Garigal National Park after a short start around the oval.

The 3km, 8km and 11km wind through the undulating trails before taking their respective routes.

If you have never run on a trail before we advise that you try a shorter distance. Choose a distance that is within your limits and speak to your doctor beforehand if you have any health concerns. You will enjoy the event more if you choose a distance that is within your limits.

Run Forest Run is a wonderful event and volunteering with us, is a way to connect, make some friends and have some fun.
