Classroom Catch-up! K/1S ⭐

K/1S have continued to excel in their learning while having plenty of fun along the way! It is hard to believe just how much we have managed to fit into our busy term.

Kindergarten have celebrated 100 Days of Learning and enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Calmsley City Farm. Our Year 1 students took part in an engaging incursion, learning more about our First Nations People and culture. We have also proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week, welcomed families into our Open Classrooms during Education Week, enjoyed the K–2 Athletics Fun Day, and joined in the excitement of the Book Fair and Parade.
In the classroom, our learning has been just as busy! We have been exploring living things, developing their writing skills by creating compound and complex sentences, and building their understanding across a range of mathematical concepts.
On top of all of this, we have been working hard to prepare for our upcoming dance performance. K/1S have shown such enthusiasm, persistence and excitement throughout all of these experiences.

What a busy and wonderful term it has been! I am incredibly proud of all that K/1S students have achieved and the enthusiasm they bring to their learning each day.
