Shakespeare Reloaded is a unique project that explores creative approaches to the theory and practice of teaching and learning Shakespeare.

We are a team of academics and school teachers exploring new approaches to teaching and learning Shakespeare. We research the history, theory, and practice of education and literary studies. Shakespeare Reloaded aims to provide interesting and innovative theories, ideas, activities, and approaches for educators eager to explore fresh ways of thinking about Shakespeare. Born to be wild! In this panel, chaired by Professor Jackie Manuel, three members of the Better Strangers research team (a long-running collaboration between the University of Sydney and Barker College) Emeritus Professor Will Christie, Professor Liam Semler and Dr Lauren Weber each take a different approach to the topic of their title: Born to be wild: Educational Creativity and the constraints of the system.

The Shakespeare Reloaded website is proud to host fantastic new resources from the project ‘A Reimagined Dream: Towards a Neurodiverse telling of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

This exciting project was a collaboration between the Australian community organisation SpectrumSpace, the Curtin Autism Research Group at Curtin University in Western Australia, and the creative organisations Fragmented Artists and Organic Productions.
