Even though Motherβs Day has come and gone, this special song was simply too sweet not to share πΈ
Our children at Little Scribblers Caringbah put their hearts into learning and singing this beautiful song, and the joy on their faces says it all. Moments like these remind us of the power of music to build confidence, language skills, memory, and meaningful connections.
Sometimes the most precious moments are the ones worth sharing long after the occasion has passed π

π Tiny Explorers at Work π
Curiosity leads some of the most meaningful learning experiences π±
Our children have been investigating insects and natural specimens using magnifying glasses, closely observing colours, patterns, shapes, and textures. Through hands-on exploration, children are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Experiences like these support scientific thinking, language development, concentration, and confidence as children learn through discovery and play π

At Little Scribblers, nursery rhymes are so much more than just songs π΅
From Baa Baa Green Sheep to Tiny Turtle and The Elephant Song, our children love singing, dancing, laughing, and learning together.
Nursery rhymes help support language development, memory, listening skills, rhythm, confidence, and social connection while making learning fun and engaging for children of all ages π
There is nothing better than hearing the beautiful voices and giggles filling our learning environments each day π
Learning about turtles, oceans, and protecting our environment through song and play π
Today, our children celebrated World Turtle Day by singing the much-loved song βI Had a Tiny Turtleβ while learning about turtles, their habitats, and why protecting our oceans and wildlife is so important π
Through music, conversations, and hands-on learning experiences, children explored how even small actions can help care for our environment and vulnerable animals. Experiences like these help children develop empathy, curiosity, and an early understanding of sustainability and caring for the world around them π±

Children learn, grow, and develop through everyday experiences, relationships, and play π
From first words and scribbles to problem solving, friendships, and emotional regulation, every stage of development is meaningful and important.
At Little Scribblers, our educators use their knowledge of child development alongside the Early Years Learning Framework to create engaging learning experiences that support children across all developmental areas.
Most importantly, we celebrate that every child is unique and will progress at their own pace π

At Little Scribblers Belmore, the children have been exploring mathematical concepts such as big, small, tall, short, thick, and thin using everyday household items and familiar toys π§Έ
Through hands-on experiences, children were encouraged to compare objects, describe differences, problem solve, and build early mathematical understanding in meaningful and engaging ways. Learning experiences like these help children develop language, observation skills, and confidence while learning through play π
Today, the children at Little Scribblers Brighton-Le-Sands had a very exciting visit from the SES for WOW Day 2026 π
During the visit, children learnt about how the SES helps people during emergencies such as floods, heavy rain, storms, and fallen trees. The team shared how they use special rescue boats, safety equipment, and chainsaws to support the community when help is needed most.
The children were fully engaged as they participated in hands-on learning experiences including:
π€ Sitting in the SES rescue boat wearing life jackets and pretending to row
π³ Cutting down pretend trees using toy chainsaws
π Exploring the SES trucks and equipment
Experiences like these help children build confidence, community awareness, safety knowledge, and an understanding of the important roles helpers play within our community π
A huge thank you to the SES team for taking the time to visit and create such meaningful learning opportunities for our children.
