Pedigree Dynamics - Horse Breeding Consultancy

This Comic Force filly looked like an outstanding buy for Healey Racing from the Lime Country Thoroughbreds draft at Inglis Classic, bought for only $46k.

She’s out of a Toronado mare, so has Sadler’s Wells to boost Fairy King and Northern Meteor in Cosmic Force, creating some strong line breeding. Two of Cosmic’s five SW’s carry Sadler’s Wells through the dam.

Toronado is in his infancy as a broodmare sire, but it’s interesting to see that his first stakes winner in this role is a Gr 1 winner in France! That GW is by Wootton Bassett who, like Cosmic Force, creates a duplication to Gone West when combined with Toronado.

Maybe this filly will be Toronado’s second Gr 1 winner as broodmare sire and Cosmic Force’s first as a sire!

If it were only that simple…😆
