Today was my first day back at Messy Bubs and Mums & Bubs playgroup at Learning Blocks Dural after a long holiday — and my very first session without my little assistant.

My son has started preschool now, and I truly missed seeing him run around during messy play while I worked. That feeling will always have a special place in my heart.

But what a beautiful way to start the year after Lunar New Year! 💛

We welcomed 9 gorgeous bubs today. There was so much laughter, so much joy, and so many new friendships formed between mums.

Watching the little ones dive into the sensory fun — especially throwing rice everywhere with the biggest smiles — reminded me exactly why I love what I do.
New year. New beginnings. Same messy magic. ✨

I love seeing the older kids explore the activities with their own creativity and independence. Watching them learn how to play, share, and connect with friends is always so special ✨

What a truly wonderful first year for Messy Bubs Parramatta.

We started this little business in December 2024, and launched our very first session on 25/01 for Lunar New Year and it was sold out 🧧✨

Since then, so many challenges and milestones I’ll always be proud of:

👉My first incursion right after launch at Fingerprints Early Learning Centre

👉A 4-week Mum & Bubs playgroup at Garfield Childcare

👉My very first term started with only 3 mums booked… and finished with 8 mums by the end of term 🥰

👉The second term was even better, with 8–10 mums consistently across term bookings and casual tickets

👉Term 3 sold out in just 2 weeks, with a waiting list — and for the first time ever, sessions grew to 12 mums & bubs

👉Beautiful opportunities to work with North St Marys Neighbourhood Centre for Children’s Day & Book Week

👉A fortnightly Mum & Bubs playgroup at Learning Block Dural, connecting mums in The Hills area — I miss this session so much 💔🤎

My true happiness is seeing both mums and bubs enjoying themselves at my sessions.

Watching mums relax, connect, laugh… and seeing little ones explore freely, it honestly heals me more than I can explain.

Our holiday is slowly coming to an end ✈️
What a precious time it has been — going home to Vietnam to be with family, then creating memories together in Japan. Even flu season couldn’t take that away 🤍

We travelled simply, on a budget, no pram — buses, trains, little legs walking beside us. So tired, but so proud of our little one and so grateful for every moment.

I can’t wait to return to Sydney, to familiar routines and our life there… but I’ll be honest, my heart feels a little heavy too.
Still, I know this journey has filled us with memories we’ll carry forever 💫

Some bubs jump straight in, some watch carefully, and some might cry at their first try — and that’s all perfectly normal 🤍

Every bub explores in their own way and in their own time. Our sessions are designed to be safe, gentle and taste-safe, using non-toxic ingredients so little hands (and mouths!) can explore freely.

Explorer or observer — everyone is welcome at Messy Bubs 💫
