Eating to nourish 💪🏽 Feels so good to be back in the gym!!
1️⃣ pre workout, lactation cookie 🍪 + electrolytes & creatine during workout
2️⃣ egg white oats 🍓

My biggest struggle nutrition wise this week has been lack of preparation as a new mum so my goal for the week is to have lunches prepped & a plan for meals 💓 Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Workouts look a little different now 🥰 First slide was me mid workout because Lyla woke up & wanted a feed then cuddle 🥹
6.5 weeks postpartum, just grateful to be able to move again ♥️ The best thing I did for myself PP is rest, nourish & see a specialist physio at 6 weeks 💯
This is my first full workout since the last one I posted the day I went into labour at 41 weeks 4 days 😮💨 No crazy weights, just listening to my body & doing what I can.
I’m excited for this stage of my journey 🥳
I am a sentimental person. I love memories in the form of photos & videos. I felt emotional today knowing this is the last time Lyla will wear this outfit - it’s too small 🥹 The outfit she came home in & also had her newborn shoot in.
Something strange I’ve found since becoming Lyla’s mum.. I miss moments while I’m living them. The 3am faces she gives me, the big stretches after a nap, the cheeky smile during feeds 🥰 Even when things feel overwhelming, I remind myself that these are the days I’ll miss one day ♥️
She will never be this small again and already as you can see, she’s growing quickly 😭 Time is such a funny thing. People told me “time flies even faster when you’re a mum” 😅 I get it now.

Pregnancy to postpartum ♥️
This is NOT a ‘before’ and ‘after’ but merely showing two different stages of my journey 🤰🏽 Left was 10K steps most days & 5 workouts per week.. right is total rest,
Enjoying all the newborn snuggles because time is a thief but also 😂 a a little laugh for all the mamas going through witching hours ✨ we have got this

First walk as a family 🥹 My first walk in over 4 weeks, it might not seem like much others but it means a lot to me 💓
As someone that has been active for over 10 years, postpartum has definitely been challenging. I worked out all through pregnancy & hit 10K steps most days as I knew recovery would take time but I didn’t expect it to take this long 😮💨 The hardest thing has been recovery but as the pain lessens day by day, I am excited to be feeling more like myself ✨
Walking for any fitness goal is so underrated! Looking forward to getting back in to daily walks again 🐕 I didn’t plan to share this photo 😂 just wanted it for the memories but this is reality for me PP - matching tracksuit & no hairbrush 🙋🏽♀️
