This year the Autumn 2024 Global LGBTQIA+ and Everyone Else Feldenkrais Festival will be on November 11th-17th! Monday there will be a kick off event, Tuesday - Friday there will at three extended Awareness through Movement per day. Saturday - Sunday will be 24 hours of lessons taught by trainers from around the world.

I organized this event with the fabulous ‪‬ and ‪‬ and we will have trainers from all over the world.

David Hall is a somatic adventurer who has been practising the Feldenkrais Method and Alexander Technique for more than 30 years. He is an Assistant Trainer in the Feldenkrais Method, has a background in theatre, and ran a Salsa dancing school for 15 years.

Topic: School Aged Children - Meeting Children with Diverse Needs

• talks about children who try hard and just don’t get ahead.

• explores how the principles of the Feldenkrais Method, including fun in “failure”, create an ideal learning environment for children who might otherwise struggle in their learning.

• It’s all about the fun – when you’re having fun, the brain produces a different kind of neurochemistry; when you fail, it’s harder to learn.

Gail has extensive personal experience with children with learning difficulties. She has undertaken research on brain development and learning in a wide range of ‘therapies’ available for children with learning difficulties, ADD, ADHD, or any condition where a child is not functioning at their optimum learning ability.
