Little & Loved Early Learning Centre

We’ve spent the past two weeks watching eggs hatch into chicks: from warm days in the incubator, to tiny cracks, to fluffy little arrivals. It’s been a gentle and hands-on way for the children to explore the life cycle of a chick!🥚🐣🐥

The children sketched, wrapped and created with so much joy, all while our garden, the third teacher, inspired their play and imagination🌿

🛒 We took our muffin ingredients list to Aldi and the children did an amazing job finding everything we needed!

It was a joyful excursion to extend our “Where does food come from?” project - igniting curiosity, encouraging teamwork, and making learning meaningful. 🍌🫐💛

Fridays are for parks, sunshine and babycinos!☕️🌿💙

📚Last week, our preschoolers enjoyed a special visit from the Year 4 students at Our Lady Queen of Peace, sparked by the children’s growing curiosity about our new internal library.

The shared story time created a beautiful space for connection, confidence-building and early literacy through meaningful, interest-led learning.

Our community garden is a place for hands-on learning, exploration, and teamwork! The children loved discovering different herbs and veggies, using their senses to explore and care for the plants.

This garden not only nurtures their curiosity but also provides fresh produce for our chef to create delicious, nutritious meals. A beautiful way to learn, grow, and give back! 🌿✨
