β¨ Get Ready for Design Corner 2026 β Regional Water Challenge! β¨
Weβre excited to announce the return of the Inter-University Design Corner 2026! π
This year, EWB UNSW is partnering with USYD and UTS to tackle one of the most pressing challenges facing regional communities: drinking water resilience in New South Wales.
Participants will work on real-world water security challenges affecting councils such as Orange, Yass Valley and the Blue Mountains. From drought resilience and ageing infrastructure to PFAS contamination and climate-driven turbidity events, this yearβs case is grounded in genuine regional pressures.
Teams will design innovative, practical and equitable solutions that help strengthen regional water systems contributing to safer, more resilient communities. Your ideas wonβt just be theoretical; they are framed around real challenges faced by NSW water stakeholders and local councils.
ππ§ This is your opportunity to help shape the future of drinking water security in NSW.
