A beautiful full-circle moment at Mount Sinai College 💙
We loved welcoming back Ms Wood, a former teacher who dedicated over 15 years to our school. Even more special was reuniting with Mr Levy, whom she taught in Year 1, and meeting his own children, now students at MSC.
Generations of learning, connection and community. This is Mount Sinai. 💙

Last year, we came together for our annual Speech Night and Awards Ceremony for Years 3–6, a beautiful celebration of learning, leadership and community.
Mazel tov to all the students who received awards and to those who shone on stage through Israeli Dancing, K–2 Dance, the Year 6 Brass Ensemble and our Senior Choir. The evening was filled with pride, joy and inspirational messages from our College leaders and local MP.
A heartfelt Mazel tov to our graduating Class of 2025. As our Principal, Mrs Noelene Bellingham, shared:
“You are ready. You leave us equipped with knowledge, resilience, confidence and a strong sense of who you are… capable, curious, compassionate, and prepared for the journey ahead.”
Thank you to our families for sharing this special night with us.

Today, Mount Sinai College joins communities across Australia in observing the National Day of Mourning.
We pause to remember the lives lost and extend our thoughts to their families, loved ones, and all those affected.
Guided by the Jewish values of kavod (respect) and chesed (kindness), we encourage reflection, care, and compassion within our community today.
As a mark of respect, College flags are flying at half-mast.
May their memory be a blessing

One of the greatest parts of camp is watching our students lift each other up.
Throughout the week, campers of all ages supported one another, cheering each other on during challenges, lending a hand with gear, and making sure everyone felt confident, included and brave.
And behind every unforgettable camp memory is a team of dedicated teachers who make it all possible. A huge thank you to our incredible Mount Sinai staff who guided activities, cheered students on, comforted tired campers, and brought endless energy and positivity to every day.
Your care, commitment and passion ensure our students feel safe, supported and ready for adventure. We are so grateful for everything you do. 💙
We hope all our families enjoy the remainder of the school holidays, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.

There’s something truly special about camp at Mount Sinai. It’s where confidence grows, friendships deepen, and students discover just how capable they are.
Whether they were cheering each other on at high ropes, paddling in canoes or splashing around in the pool, our campers embraced every moment.
Their kindness, teamwork and sense of community shone through in every activity. We are so proud of how they embodied our Six Kinds of Best values and helped make camp such a warm, memorable experience for everyone.

In times of sadness, we lean on our values, our faith and one another. Holding our community in our thoughts and prayers.

Our students took part in something truly special, the first-ever MSC x JCA Celebration of Giving, marking the final stage of our Coins for Kindness initiative.
From Kindergarten to Year 6, every student learned about the power of Tzedakah and how small acts of giving can create a big impact. After hearing from a range of JCA-supported organisations, students had the opportunity to donate funds from their own Tzedakah boxes to the causes that resonated most with them, raising a total $690.
A huge thank you to Amy and the JCA team for helping us bring this inspiring experience to life, and to the organisations who shared their important work with our students: Jewish Care, BJE, Shalom Collective, Sydney Jewish Museum, and Maccabi. A special shout-out to Ms Cleminson for leading this meaningful event from start to finish with our Charity committee.
We are so proud of our students for embracing the values of kindness, empathy and community. ✨ Shabbat Shalom, everyone!

MAZAL TOV to our Year 6 girls and families who marked their milestone communally at our Annual Bat Mitzvah Presentation on 23 November. Family and friends were inspired by the personal reflections, songs, and the incredibly powerful presence of this group of future leaders! 🥰
Their collective energy radiated Tikvah — hope and positivity — showing the strength each girl carries individually and the even greater power they create together as a tribe. May their inner Ner Tamid, the eternal light that shone so brightly on this special day, continue to guide them as they step forward to lead and make a meaningful impact in their communities and the world.
Thank you to all who came to celebrate with our Bat Mitzvah girls as they achieved this milestone. Shabbat Shalom, everyone.

Our K–2 Sports Carnival was bursting with fun, giggles and little legs on the move!
From sack races and relays to frog jumps and brand-new games, our youngest students gave it their all with big smiles and even bigger enthusiasm.
Well done to our K–2 superstars for their amazing effort on Monday! 🌟
