A couple of things we need every few weeks or so (or more!)....perspective, and catalysts. Ways to see ourselves as we really are, ways to see what is important, ways to help us discover purpose and meaning, prompts to make us change daily actions.

This is one that always reminds me that all the 'stuff' people strive for every day is not a big deal....that maybe our true purpose is to be good caretakers of our pale blue dot & compassionate guardians of all who live on it, human or animal.

If I have to go into a group of people I don't know & I'm feeling a bit nervous, I adjust my thinking from "What will they think of me?" to "How can I help & serve these people? What can I learn?". Your nerves will vanish when you stop making it about yourself. See the specialness in people and determine to dig it out by the end of the encounter!

Are you so busy working to afford your mortgage, car, clothes, gadgets and other STUFF that you're not getting the time, or having the energy, to even enjoy your life, grow, experience, expand your understanding of your place in the universe?.....Sooner or later you'll hit an awakening point and re-evaluate what's important to you. I hope it's sooner rather than later. xx

Last time you asked, thought about, & acted on these questions? .... a bit of a timely test for many to see which of self-absorption or contribution is the higher priority for you. The truth is one tough mother (don’t sugar coat this for yourself with a few mumblings about recycling)....but liberation, & maybe even purpose & fulfilment, is on the other side. Go get it xx
